Expertise in a Broad Array of Consumer Brand Categories
Our team’s knowledge, experience and track record are unmatched in non-traditional food-away-from-home consumption channels. Our parent company’s founder helped pioneer the mobile food industry in the late 1960s and owned independent food-away-from-home outlets across the US: vending, cafeterias, catering, bodega, small retail stores, and Latin import distributors. CMG capitalizes on this experience on behalf of our clients.
Unlike core, traditional customers, independent segments of the food-away-from-home channel form a vast, unconnected and highly relationship-driven community. Many CPG companies, whose limited resources are stretched, find the channel’s scope and fragmented nature difficult to manage.
Influencing the buying decisions of these unconventional customers requires an in-depth understanding of their unique daily business interactions, evolutions and needs. You need to be able to engage independent food-away-from-home decision makers of all types while leveraging your existing distribution network.
CMG has developed unmatched know-how and relationships that we leverage on behalf of the brands we represent. We understand the independent food-away-from-home customer mindset and can tailor service and execution for the unique needs of independent foodservice operators and distributors.
As a result, we can provide our clients the right marketing, sales, pricing and sampling programs. We don’t need to guess or use second-hand information to create effective brand strategies. Instead, we leverage our resources to deliver effective growth and maintain a consistent brand presence in unconventional channels.
